Straits Index (M) Sdn Bhd was founded in 1998, is a software development company that specializes in financial technical analysis and provides the Bursa Malaysia intra-day trading data for the professional and individual investors.  

Our software program, namely,  WinChart comes in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese versions; where as our goal is to provide a high quality investment tool that can help stock and Index Futures investors throughout the country.

We at Straits Index (M) Sdn Bhd believe that investors should combine technical analysis with core elements of fundamental analysis during the investment process. WinChart is a powerful and proven technical analysis tool that when used in conjunction with the daily stock information provided by Straits Index, can greatly help the investors in realizing their goals in trading stocks or Index Futures. With the user friendliness of WinChart, coupled with our unbeatable customers services and supports, WinChart clients can quickly analyze stock data with a comprehensive depiction of market movement and trend definitions.

Our mission is to promote and educate our clients about technical analysis as well as provide the tools and data that allow our clients to make profitable investment decisions in the stock market.

Currently, we are the columnist of the Composite Index and the Second Board Index Daily Technical Analysis for the Sin Chew Daily. In addition, we also provide a complete weekly Composite Index  Technical Analysis for Sin Chew Daily as well as the Kwong Wah Daily. For your information, WinChart is also the designated Technical Analysis software for several securities firms in Malaysia.
